Grupa KDM is starting an exceptional revitalisation project in Warsaw's Praga-Północ district! 
On 6 November we signed a contract with the Capital City of Warsaw for the renovation of the historic tenement house at ul. Stalowa 34. Works will begin immediately – under the supervision of the Warsaw Monument Conservator.
It is a building with a rich history – erected in 1895–1898, for decades it served various functions, from the “Florange” cosmetics factory to an elementary school.
Thanks to the determination of the local community, the tenement house was entered in the register of monuments in 2009, which saved it from demolition. Today our aim is to combine tradition with modernity: preserving the original architectural details while adapting the building to contemporary residential standards.
The project includes, among other things, the installation of lifts, a central heating system and a number of technical solutions that will ensure comfort and safety for future residents.
For us it is both an honour and a responsibility – the revitalisation of historic buildings is not only construction work, but also care for the heritage and character of the city.
