Edmund Biernacki County Hospital in Opoczno (SP ZOZ)

Scope:

The project involved the comprehensive reconstruction and modernisation of the facilities of the Edmund Biernacki County Hospital in Opoczno, the main element of which was the creation of a modern operating theatre suite.

The following was carried out under the task:

▪ reconstruction and raising of the second floor of Building A with a total area of 545 m²
▪ construction of a new operating theatre suite consisting of four modern operating theatres, including a theatre intended for caesarean sections
▪ preparation of auxiliary rooms, technical facilities and spaces necessary for the proper functioning of the operating theatre suite
▪ general construction, installation and finishing works in line with the requirements applicable to healthcare facilities
▪ adapting the rooms to technical, sanitary, fire-safety and functional requirements
▪ reorganisation of the laboratories and administrative spaces located in Building B
▪ comprehensive renovation of Building D, including structural, installation, roofing and finishing works
▪ modernisation of the central heating installation and other technical infrastructure in the buildings covered by the works
▪ reconstruction of fire access roads on the hospital grounds
▪ reconstruction and tidying of the external infrastructure necessary to serve the facilities
▪ coordination of construction and installation works carried out on the premises of an operating medical facility

The investment was carried out with a view to improving the health security of residents of the Opoczno region, increasing the hospital's surgical capacity and providing medical staff with modern and functional working conditions.
